  • Braun Immersion Blender - Very Versatile

One of the most handy tools in my kitchen is my braun immersion blender, a. K. A a hand blender. Immersion blenders have been about for about ten years, and do nearly everything a regular blender does. Braun makes a number of tiny household appliances. One of the things I like is its ease of cleanup. My braun immersion blender came with a plastic cup as an accessory along with a wall mounting bracket so that it can be expediently stored in a cupboard. The new models come with a range of accessories and range in price from around $15.00 to over $400.00 by corporations such as Waring, KitchenAid, and Conair.
If you are making hot soup that should be pureed, you have 3 options.

If the Kenwood is touching the bottom of the pot, the food won't circulate, and the machine can't do its job. I had a pal who had Problems using her immersion blender and so disfavored it. Depending on the depth of what you are blending you must keep the blade about an inch above the bottom of the pot, and you should move the unit through the liquid as if you were delicately stirring it.
The braun immersion blender is also extraordinarily flexible.
